Hello gay people,

as you know i am a big fan of gungame .

sadly i must see that in last day often the people go away after a mapchange. weeks ago we had not this problem.

So i get the idea that the maps are guilty, beacause with the time each map becomes boring..
Can we find a new ones? Or maybe you give me the permission to change to other maps, which are on server.

could u pls post the maps the ppl leave? would be helpful for us to sort out the mapcycle!

sure we can find new maps and esp. shane is always on the hunt for new ones! and we already added some maps in the last weeks! for example: orange 4 towers / 3 towers...

but as i said...we need to ve the mapnames to see which maps we cut out of the mapcycle!

for the biginning I would like to change to a map which is not in cycle.

Also nochmal auf deutsch, ich kann leider keine anderen maps starten, obwohl diese auf dem server liegen, denke mal da fehlt eine berechtigung - wäre schon mal cool wenn du die setzten kannst, weil dann kann ich ja mal mittendrin eine neue map laden und sehe gleich wie gut die ankommt.

maybe today i will search on other servers for colored maps.

but I know that whithe is a map only campers like, same with 4 towers, the problem at 4 towers is that often people get spawn knifed ... and I think that is not what we want.

maps I like and I think most of others like:

green afk final
orange 3 towers
purple
orange
blue afk
orange fun

maps nobody likes :

white
4 towers


Ahhh now another thing--> can we disable the choice of weapons? I mean that nobaody can choose a sniper, maybe only the rifle, because of the bug in gg some "funny" people play all the time with sniper - this sux and has nothing to do with gungame... the sense of gungame is to win the match and not to shoot in a far distance on poor people with pistol...

i cant change a map y the admin menu myself! its weird, cause i ve full admin rights! but u can change the map as an admin in the console typing:

map_orange (for example)

yeh the prob on 4 towers i got yesterday myself! i dislike ppl doing this! but all those wannabes only can go to spawn and kill the players and call it skill! but sadly we cant do much about it in this map! u only can slap or slay, kick or ban them then!

yeh i would like to disable sniper too! lets see if we can do it, cause im afraid that when we disable sniper for the choice of weapon at the begin, that it might be not in the weaponcycle of the gungame! but lets see....

Mhmm i think white isnt so bad. There are always players on when map is on. I watch often in the admin tool and see it then. But u are right the "4" maps are often empty. The problem is there are not many other maps for gungame. IMO standard maps arent good for this kind of game. And to forbit sniper or so is not the right way because I LOVE sniper, muahahah
No that is off course not the reason but when we start this then i must say i dont like bazooka!! u know what i mean?

u can ve gungame on every map for dod! so the coloured maps arent made for gungame, but they r the best for this gay game!

as i said b4..sniper wont get erased from the gungame gunlist, but what sir horsti meant is that ppl just take the sniper as the choosen weapon and respawn with it and snipe around while others ve to start with pistols! thats übergay!

btw..i know u can snipe away the hair of a flys nut dear sebastian...and u love it...and u need it cause to see ur own nuts!

it took us along time ot get a good map rotatition. i tried SO MANY and finally the coloured maps did the job and got server full and all had fun

witht he sniper.. let them pick sniper.. they cant win if they only pick sniper and they spawn with the default gun then they cant win the game,

and yeh if we disallow sniper in main menu for guns then it wont work when its time to come sniper in the gun list

and yes you can play gungame on all dod maps.. but them maps suck for gungame dod...

theres a few more colored maps.. we had on and were not so popular,,

dod_afk_green
dod_red

and so on

so not all color maps r popular

1st of all I like these colored maps. I dont want other real maps there!

I think / hope disabling the sniper will work. I remember another server on wichi I had only pistol as default, but dont know if it was on a source server.

Static, I will search for some new maps. And sorry, because u spend so much time - but hey it was well invested ^^ - I think only 2 maps are sucking hard - so it was a good job
and yes people with sniper can not win the match ... but they destroy the fun of others! and fun is the middle of the game. Maybe I will start to slap these people

another bad point is, that such people are on RANK 1 for such a ugly playing ... so it is not fair

a map i have seen on server and want to try is trueblue - the name sounds good

yes u can! but there4 u need to type in the map exactly like its named! for example "map_dod_orange_slip_with_brown_and_yellow_stripes"
